This course is for people that would like to progress their careers but need a GCSE in Biology to get ahead, such as teaching or nursing.

It would be beneficial if you have a grade C in GCSE Mathematics or Level 2 Adult

Numeracy and grade C in GCSE English or Level 2 Adult Literacy.

GCSE Biology gives students the chance to gain a good understanding of human biology, organisms, evolution and the environment.

The course helps put Biology in the context of students’ everyday lives with topics ranging from ‘Keeping healthy’ to ‘Humans
