This course is for anyone who has a genuine interest in the hairdressing sector and would like to gain the skills required to work in the industry.
You will need a minimum of GCSE English and maths at Grade 3 or above. You will also be required to complete practical skills assessments.

A full kit must also be purchased and you may be eligible for financial assistance to help with these costs. Any external trips or visits may also incur additional costs.|
The course is taught using a variety of practical methods in our dedicated training salons and theoretical methods in the classroom. You will also get the opportunity to gain industry experience by completing a work placement.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
You will be required to complete a work placement, this may be for a block week or 2 full days per week.
You will have the opportunity to attend master classes, listen to guest speakers from industry, participate in competitions both in-house and external and also take part in external trips and visits.
This is a full-time course with classes running anytime from 9am - 8pm Monday - Friday, you may be required to attend one late evening session per week. You will be given your timetable during induction.
Classes can be anytime from 9am - 8pm Monday - Friday.
This course is for anyone who is interested in beginning a career in the hairdressing industry.
On completion of this course you will be able to progress on to Level 3 Hairdressing, Level 3 Barbering or you can seek employment in industry.
