What’s it all about?

This course is for people interested in working in the Motor Vehicle industry or gaining qualifications to support their current job. You will learn the correct procedures for maintenance, repair and removal & refitting of components such as the engine, transmission, brakes, steering and electrical items.

You will need to have completed a Vehicle Maintenance Diploma Level 1 to apply for this course.

You will learn the theory of Motor Vehicles in the classroom and work on vehicles will be completed in our workshop, some of which are live jobs. You will be assessed through coursework and will take an online test.

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
