What’s it all about?

This course is designed for students who have completed a level two in catering, baking or patisserie and want to pursue a career in the hospitality and catering industry. It is also for adults who wish to re-train or gain accreditation for an existing job.

You would need to have a level two in catering, baking or patisserie to study this course.

You will be in a range of different environments, we have a fully licenced and working restaurant that is open to the public and we will be producing products for there. We have a bakery counter in reception where we sell everything that we make. We also receive special orders which we have to complete. We have a bespoke bakery area where all the classes take place and there will also be an element of theory in one of our classrooms.

What’s next?

With this qualification, you could go straight into industry working in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
